While I am a heterosexual, I have always found lesbian pornography more arousing than the other genres of pornography. The Kinsey scale Photograph: Guardian Things can change in life and you are attracted to people for such a vast variety of reasons Beth Jack: ‘I have no interest in a relationship with a man, but the thought of kissing or even giving oral sex to another male is one I have often found pleasurable’ Even as I say this, I recognise how ridiculous it sounds. I think it’s a terrible thing that Christians including myself have made people feel they are not loved and accepted by God because of who they’re attracted to. I now believe that there is nothing wrong with it, but that I believe God loves commitment, love and a serving heart in a relationship. The longer I’ve been a Christian and the more I’ve thought about it and recognised that I’m allowed to question things. I am a Christian who was always taught that homosexuality was a sin. Surely attraction and love has more to do with the person than their gender? Things can change in life and you are attracted to people for such a vast variety of reasons, some of which we are not even aware of that surely ticking a box cannot sum up that experience.

I have only ever been with men but I believe it’s very possible that I could one day meet and fall in love with a woman. The things I love about my husband have nothing to do with him being a man but the person he is, so those things could just as easily be found in a woman. Kinsey rating: zero Beth: ‘It’s very possible I could one day meet and fall in love with a woman’ The imposition of certain behavioural codes is damaging and does not help people to be who they are, particularly if they do not fit prescribed categories. I am a woman and I love men, and quoting Dangerous Liaisons’ Vicomte de Valmont: “It’s beyond my control.”įreedom to choose is the most important ingredient to reach a healthy society. You certainly never know what may happen when you meet exceptional people. I think it is a question of understanding your own nature, by thinking and testing, and then just be courageous to be who you are. I started to think about sex when I was about nine years old. But when it comes to sexual desire, I have no doubts who I prefer. I have lots of homosexual friends and have experienced flirtations and attraction to the same gender. I am a woman and I love men Lisbon Lisbon: ‘I am an open minded person, but I know I am 100% heterosexual’ It's important to most of us.We asked people to tell us about their sexual preferences, history, behaviour, thoughts and beliefs, and then asked them to plot themselves on the Kinseyscale. Of course, there is a seriousness to this as well, as all of us either want answers or confirmation as to our sexual identity.

But they are all amusing to us, and just a fun distraction. All these online tests are all just made up by the amateur author of the test and have zero scientific validity. It's too bad Kinsey did not make a test himself for all of us to take. With me, for example, most of my sexual fantasies and porn watching for the last 25 years has been same-sex (male), and most of my sexual partners have been other guys, but I still find I have greater attraction and sexual desire with women in real life. But if you are still confused about your sexuality, like me, then you need a lot more questions on the test to find out where you are on the scale. Of course, if you are really solid in your sexuality and find any one test accurate, then that's wonderful. It really all depends on what questions you ask on the test, and IMHO I believe you really need 50 or 100 questions on the test to make it really objectively "accurate". And with their gay test I scored 51, high probability that you are homosexual, if needed you could consult with a relevant sex specialist for further clarification. But with this psymed one, I scored a 4, predominately homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual. I scored a 2, predominately heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual, as I did on one or two other online Kinsey scale tests I took.
